well, it's been a month and a half after attending MomoCon. possibly the most hectic con event i had since i was completely scatterbrain prior before my weekend getaway. still, i'm excited for next year since it's going to be a 4-day event. can't wait for that.
once again, i've been inactive on here since coming back from my hiatus because of my internet being cut off and the transition that i was going thru have caught a snag. mainly because of my employment have once again convinced me to stay with the company and i ended up stopping myself from transferring to a different job...yeah. i'm still at my current workplace as we speak, but for now, it's for the better. since the beginning of July, things have been picking up real quick on how much is going on and i'm trying my best to keep up the pace. life for me is getting far more busier than ever. as far as my finances go, i probably would have make very little and only manage to sustain enough as i can but not enjoying it to the fullest of how i wanted to planned out if i did transferred to another job. well, it's next year for me....i think.
MomoCon was completely wild in various ways. it's possibly the first time i've ever gotten so drunk at a con ever! although, technically i've done just that at a few AWA at certain times but not like this. one of my best friend was a host among those who were having a birthday bash at the higher suite of the Marriott Hotel. the best time of my life and my first time going to one of the most expensive room they got going on. and just like any wild party, it got shut down. mostly on Saturday since we gone too far with it. other than that, i had a great time and manage to record what i can from the con. which i'll place the links right here.
after MomoCon, SeishunCon was around the corner in June. although, this con was met with a dismal situation. not many ppl attended the con, the location of the hotel was farther away then their previous spot, and last minute changes in the scheduling and panels. what's worst about it, most of the cosplayers who attended MomoCon have already exhausted much of their finances that weren't able to attend. i didn't spend anything since i already spend on gas, food, and parking fees to get to this con. but still, my friends were there and they made it worth the while. i wish them the best of luck on deciding which month to place their event now that MomoCon have moved a month close to SeishunCon. it sucks that won't be around for next year but it's all going to be worth it for 2016 hopefully. here's some more clips from this event.
alright, that is all i have to say for now but i got a lot to talk about due to my activities outside of the internet and i think i'll save it in the next journal to talk about them. until then, i got a lot to prep up for DragonCon, AWA, and various concerts to attend. later!

it's been 5 years or so...
a lot have change since I last visit this site. I still log in once in a full moon to see what's going on. only, going back here have brought back a lot of memories I've long forgotten. Went to Art Institute of Atlanta and graduated from a bullshit degree, enjoying the life of getting a warehouse job thnx to my friend and bandmate who got me in it, living a good 6 years away from my parents home only to come back living with them again, got a new job along the way and right up to the Coronavirus pandemic. and of course, enjoying the cosplay life which lasted a good 11 years and now I'm retired and burned out from it.
life's been very crazy a
my late, late, LATE journal
seeing how i promised to make a journal way back on Halloween...here it is from my blatant absence and what little will i have on coming on to here. and i seriously mean it!
first off, DragonCon this year was amazing and unexpected. i ended up getting sick right at the start! getting the con crud early and almost didn't enjoy the first two days. but somehow, my fever broke. i was still under the weather but this is possibly the closest thing to ever happen when i get the crud after, during, or on rare occasions, before a convention. but i was glad to pull thru and continue on having fun...despite my sickness again!
during the con, i ran int
getting ready for DragonCon 2014
like the title says, i'm prepping up for the ultimate party convention once again. this time i will not get sick since last year was the most awful con crud i ever had. ever since last year, it put a major dent into my health and my job! i swore to never get sick again and to be much more prepare and aware of what goes on around that will get me sick in the first place. starting from the one random assailant who, inadvertently or intentionally, sneeze on everyone from behind. i didn't bother to take notice on that and that's how i got sick. if i manage to ran into that damn idiot again, he won't be enjoying the con anytime soon!!!

a late journal on CabinCon 2.0
as i promise from my previous journal, this will simply be about a cabin party that i have attended once again called CabinCon 2.0. way back from the beginning of January, the first CabinCon started as a winter getaway weekend. very cold as hell but we had fun either way. unfortunately, i had to bailed out on Saturday to attend an AFI concert that got sold out at Center Stage in Atlanta, GA. since summertime rolled around after MomoCon and SeishunCon, our 2nd annual cabin party began for the weekend of July 11 - 13.
it was great to mingle with all of my con buddies, old and new. more memories to remember by and hilarity that ensued. although
